David Otey has joined Azcar USA.
Otey is familiar to radio engineers from his past role as national SBE frequency coordination director. He recently left SignaSys, where he'd been involved with Sprint Nextel's training program for broadcasters affected by relocation of 2 GHz Broadcast Auxiliary Services (BAS).
Sprint Nextel now has contracted with Azcar to provide the relocation training program. Otey joined Azcar as GM of training systems, where he'll continue guiding the training program. He is based in Denver, though he'll spend most of his time in the Pittsburgh area for the coming months.
