The new Pure Digital Fiberlink 3400 Series from Communications Specialties transmits single-channel, one-way composite video-over-fiber. The system's all-digital processing provides uniform performance over the transmission path, strong signal-to-noise ratios, no crosstalk or drifting and requires no adjustments.
The 3400 series features 8 MHz bandwidth and is compatible with NTSC, PAL or SECAM video standards. It operates over a temperature range using 9-24-V AC or DC power. The system consists of two units, a transmitter and receiver, each equipped with indicator LEDs. The 3400 Series is available in single-mode and multimode versions, in box or card versions. The card units fit within the model 6000A card cage.
