Video Design Software and Converge Horizons recently introduced the DigiSnap, a next-generation networked logo inserter that enables broadcast facilities to transfer, control and play back static or animated logos into a video signal upstream or downstream from Master Control over a local or wide area network.
The 1-RU digital-logo generator/inserter provides settings for x/y, logo positioning and predefined transitions, as well as synchronization of sound files associated with each logo. The settings can be grouped into "Events" for manual or automated playback, which can be triggered via Chyron's standard Intelligent Interface protocol, GPI or the DigiSnap proprietary serial protocol.
