Stephen Brownsill has joined Ross Video as the company’s first ever product manager dedicated entirely to audio.
Brownsill joins the company from TSL Products. He has also previously worked for Grass Valley as well as Fox and Walt Disney.
“I’m extremely pleased to be joining Ross and breaking new ground as the company’s first dedicated audio product manager,” said Brownsill.
“The company’s reputation as an end-to-end solutions provider continues to grow around the world and of course audio is a highly important element of the live production environment. I think it’s fantastic that Ross is increasingly its focus on this area, and I’m very much looking forward to bringing my experience and perspective to the various product roadmap discussions.”
Nigel Spratling, VP of production switchers and video servers, added: “While Stephen will be a member of the Switcher and Server group, he will be working across all of our product lines to ensure that the audio needs of our customers are consistently met in future. Developing a comprehensive roadmap for audio development is a big job, but I know Stephen is up for the challenge and we’re very happy to have him onboard.”
