CUPERTINO, Calif.—Quality assurance solutions provider Interra Systems has announced that Elite Media Technologies has selected its BATON file-based QC solution for file-based media workflows.

Elite Media Technologies specializes in master-level and international audio QC, SDR and HDR finishing, IMF and DCP packaging, and full-service picture and sound restoration along with distribution and delivery across streaming and broadcast platforms.

“We offer comprehensive master-level and foreign audio quality control services, along with SDR and HDR mastering, IMF and DCP creation, as well as picture and sound restoration,” said Nick Mairose, president and CEO of Elite Media Technologies. “Our mission is to create high-quality media experiences for clients worldwide. After an in-depth evaluation, we selected BATON for its audio and video analysis, scalable architecture and feature set, which align with our commitment to maintaining high standards in content transformation and delivery.”

BATON is used to automate quality control processes for media files, helping ensure compliance and consistency across formats, including SDR and HDR content.

“For more than 15 years, Elite Media Technologies has specialized in creating high-quality content for global distribution across multiple languages and formats,” said Ashish Basu, executive vice president of global sales and business development at Interra Systems. “As a highly respected company in the industry, Elite Media Technologies’ focus on quality makes its adoption of BATON for file-based QC significant for us.”

“We continue to invest in research and development based on customer feedback,” Basu added. “In addition to checking the quality of SDR and HDR content, BATON can support Elite Media Technologies in delivering content to its VOD, SVOD, and OTT distribution clients.”

During the 2026 NAB Show (booth # W2243) from April 19-22, in Las Vegas, Interra Systems will showcase the latest version of its BATON platform, along with its entire suite of QC, monitoring, and analyzing solutions — including ORION for real-time monitoring and VEGA Media Analyzer for deep technical analysis and debugging.
