Media 100 recently released Version 2.0 of The Finishing Release software for its 844/X family of real-time vertical editing systems and XBLUR, a real-time 10-bit 50-pixel Gaussian Blur capability.
The Finishing Release supports new toolsets for color correction, unlimited layer compositing, editing and audio and includes support for XBLUR. 844/X systems with Version 2 software start at $24,995. The XBLUR option is priced at $7,995 for 844/Xi and $9,995 for 844/Xe.
