Communications Specialties plans to unveil the Pure Digital Fiberlink 7139 Series fiber optic transmission system at NAB2003. The 7130 Series provides transmission of 15 MHz wideband composite video using 10-but video processing and four independent audio channels over a single fiber.
Targeting broadcast and video environments, the 7130 Series can be used for long cable runs in the field or in studio and the system is compatible with all video formats, including NTSC, PAL and SECAM. The audio channels can be used for either two channels of stereo or four independent channels and to give balanced or unbalanced inputs and outputs, the user can configure audio.
The 7130 Series is available in single mode and multimode versions, in box or card version. The card units fit within the model 6000A rackmountable card cage, which comes separately.
