On the show floor, four theaters will offer free educational programming.

“Real-World Newsroom Results”
A Wednesday afternoon session offers highlights from NAB’s Google AI Training.

“Learn how broadcasters are applying Google AI tools following NAB’s Google News Initiative training program,” organizers stated.

That training was offered to NAB members and was conducted virtually this summer.

“Participants will share practical workflow learnings for deep research, document analysis, information integrity and building more resilient newsrooms, while discussing how AI can strengthen journalism, improve daily operations and better serve audiences across broadcast and digital platforms.”

Sports Betting
A session called “The Future of Sports Betting: Growth, Media & Responsibility” takes place Wednesday afternoon.

Christian Genetski is president of FanDuel, while Craig Carton of WFAN in New York is an award-winning sports broadcaster and “Responsible Gaming Ambassador” for FanDuel as well as an inductee of the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

They plan to talk about the convergence of betting and media, the changing regulatory landscape, the future of fan engagement and the industry’s responsibility to address problem gambling.

Future of Media
Show organizers say that as legacy business models come under pressure and investors demand greater focus, media companies are rethinking their portfolios through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and spin-offs.

What are the implications of this trend for audiences, advertisers and investors? The question will be explored on Wednesday in “The Future of Media: Consolidation or Spin-Off?”

It will be moderated by media and sports reporter Alex Sherman of CNBC. Among those speaking is Jessica Reif Ehrlich, managing director and senior media and entertainment analyst at BofA Securities,
