Recently you hear more about cable networks branching out to OTT, but Newsy is going the opposite way, as it has announced a partnership with Cincinnati Bell Inc.

OTT news channel Newsy, which is owned by E.W. Scripps, has announced that it will now be offering news briefings on Amazon’s Alexa platforms, including Amazon Echo.

Newsy is moving on in to more U.S. homes, as E.W. Scripps has signed distribution agreement with several cable companies for the multiplatform national news network.

Newsy, the national news network focused toward millennial audiences, has been predominantly located on OTT services, but now it is expanding into the cable and satellite marketplace.
