Canon Brings PTZ and Multicamera Setup, Control and Management into a Single Platform
Camera Control Centre supports up to 200 compatible devices and aims to help broadcasters standardise workflows, maintain consistent image quality and scale productions with ease
Canon has introduced Camera Control Centre, a new free software application that brings setup, control and management together in a single platform for PTZ and multi-camera productions.
The software aims to help broadcasters standardize workflows, maintain consistent image quality and scale productions with ease, said the company.
The software supports the full production workflow, including:
- Camera discovery and initial setup
- Remote PTZ camera control
- Colour matching across Canon and non-Canon cameras
- Firmware updates and device management
- Centralized monitoring and operation
New features include the ability to compare up to four camera feeds simultaneously and quickly adjust settings such as white balance, shutter speed and iris from a single screen. Users can also save and recall settings across multiple cameras.
Camera Control Centre supports up to 200 compatible devices, enabling organisations to manage large camera deployments from a single application, said Canon. Batch management capabilities further simplify configuration, updates and maintenance across multiple cameras.
