VelocityQ Training Updated

(November 19, 2003) Toronto--The certified training curriculum for Leitch's VelocityQ nonlinear editing system has been updated to include the new features of the 8.2 version. The first certified training course, "An Introduction to VelocityQ," is a three-day, hands-on course for users new to the VelocityQ editing system.

"We're pleased to launch our updated certified training courses for VelocityQ," said Brad Nogar, Leitch vice president and general manager for post production. "The intuitive nature of VelocityQ has meant that many new users have been immediately productive even without training; however, as the software has evolved to include literally hundreds upon hundreds of powerful features, it's likely that there are many functions that even our most experienced users aren't using to their full potential. VelocityQ certified training will help ensure that users get the most out of their VelocityQ systems."

The "Introduction to VelocityQ" Leitch-certified training course is available through authorized Leitch Post Production training centers in the United States and Canada. A list of authorized training centers can be found on the Leitch web site, at www.leitch.com/vqtraining
