VCI Solutions has selected Ron Caird as director of sales for its Automation Division. Caird brings over 25 years of broadcast television experience to this position, where he will be responsible for managing the expanding sales of the autoXe automation product line, including the new autoXe MC product, in both new and existing markets.
Prior to joining VCI Automation, Caird was the Director of Sales for Broadcast Stations and Groups at Pathfire, Inc. where he managed the national sales staff and was part of the strategic planning team for new product and market development. Additionally his broadcast experience includes Regional Sales Manager for Miranda, Inc. and Application Engineering Manager for RE Technology/Barco Communication Systems.
