Univision Multi-Year Carriage Deal

NEW YORK: Spanish-language media company Univision Communications Inc. reached a multi-year distribution agreement with Mediacom Communications, the eighth largest cable television company in the United States.
Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
In announcing the Mediacom deal, Univision also noted that, over the first six months of the year, it has reached carriage agreements with more than 100 distributors across the country, including Cable ONE and NPG Cable.
The carriage agreements include continued distribution of Univision and TeleFutura broadcast channels, as well as the Galavision cable network. Also covered is carriage of stations owned and operated by Univision in several markets, as well as carriage of affiliated stations owned and operated by Entravision Communications and Equity Media Holdings Corp.
