Sophoi Continues to Build Organization with Key Global Appointments

Sophoi, Inc., a provider of enterprise business rights, licensing and royalty management software, has announced that it is expanding its international operations by appointing a number of key personnel to its global team including Christopher Lally as senior vice president, global business development; Lisa Schwartz, as vice president, global marketing; Gil Valera as vice president, global services; and Dilip Kuppuswami as chief financial officer.

As CFO, Kuppuswami manages the finance, accounting, legal and human resources functions within Sophoi. He joins Sophoi with over 20 years of financial operations management, venture funding, and mergers and acquisitions experience in software and services.

As Senior Vice President of Global Business Development, Christy Lally heads up Sophoi's worldwide business development team with the responsibility for global sales, alliances and industry solutions. Lally comes to Sophoi from Oracle Corporation where he led global business development in the Media and Entertainment industry and was a spokesperson in the industry for the Oracle's Europe, Africa and the Middle East operations.

As Vice President of Global Marketing for Sophoi, Lisa Schwartz has responsibility for Sophoi's market research and strategy, marketing communications, corporate brand and reach across all verticals and regions worldwide. Schwartz brings years of industry experience in technology marketing to Sophoi having previously worked for Oracle Corporation where she led global industry and applications marketing in the Media and Entertainment sector.

As Vice President of Global Services, Gil Valera is responsible for Sophoi's professional services, training and customer support worldwide. He joins Sophoi from Business Objects, where he headed up a division with their Professional Services group. Valera has held various senior management roles providing enterprise-wide profitability solutions for customers within key organizations such as Ernst & Young, the Bank of America and Epiphany, Inc.
