TiVo ToGo subscribers can now take their favorite recorded shows with them.
Matt Wisk, chief marketing officer, TiVo said, "consumers don't want to be tied to their living room to watch their favorite entertainment." Now with the new TiVo enhancement, subscribers can take their show with them while traveling on business, on vacation or wherever they go.
Most TiVo Series2 will automatically receive the new feature when their DVRs connect to the TiVo service. Using encryption, the service allows viewers to transfer programming to their laptops and they view their shows by entering a password created during the software installation on a Windows XP or 2000 OS.
Besides the new enhancement TiVo currently offers online scheduling, Season Pass recordings and WishList searches.
