A new version of the Leitch VelocityQ--an SD post-production NLE system--is now shipping.
Version 9.1 includes new color correction tools, collaborative workflows, audio processing and broadband media format support, including DV25 and DVCPRO content from the Panasonic P2 line.
Leitch President/General Manager Randy Fowlie said the new features and broadened format support make VelocityQ attractive to a wider range of new customers. The new version--for Win XP Pro OS--combines the editing system with the Quattrus multli-stream, real-time, nonlinear editing hardware to form an integrated standard-def NLE system. Features include full-quality playback of four streams of compressed or uncompressed video, up to six graphics streams, and, optionally, two or four channels of 3D DVE.
