Extensis has upgraded its Portfolio digital asset management server, now in version 8.5, to tightly integrate with Adobe’s new Creative Suite 3.
The Portfolio Server upgrade provides workflow features to organize and exchange digital files using visual catalogs and embedded metadata. It is a multichannel system that enables the searching and sharing of media assets within a workgroup, across an organization and externally with outside partners.
The upgrade also includes new features to automate metadata-driven organization, tracking and distribution of digital assets. Portfolio Project Sync allows users to interface with CS3 applications, and NetPublish now includes advanced logging for reporting user traffic as well as visual watermarking to prevent unauthorized image use.
