Soccer Match Broadcast in 3D

MEXICO CITY: Televisa broadcast the first soccer match in 3D over the weekend, according to published reports. Televisa carried Sunday’s game between America and Guadalajara in the format to 3D-equipped theaters in Guadalajara and Monterrey. Televisa is one of Mexico’s main Spanish-language broadcasters, providing programming for Univision in the United States. The network also is planning to air Primera División Aperturatournament finals in 3D as well.
