NCTA Promotes Dietz to VP of Communications

The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) has promoted its Senior Director, Brian Dietz to vice president, communications.

Dietz has been with NCTA since 2003, and is the spokesperson for the association and assists in directing its media relations staff.

"This promotion recognizes his contributions to the NCTA public policy efforts of the past few years and his increasing prominence in our industry's communications efforts," NCTA President and CEO Robert Sachs said.

Dietz was the former regional spokesperson and corporate communications director for AT&T Broadband and MediaOne in Sacramento, Calif. and St. Paul, Minn.
