German satellite service provider acquires Harris Platinum router
By TVTechnology published
Berlin-based A-Medialynx, a production facility and satellite services provider, has ordered a Harris Platinum router for the playout of its satellite service in Germany.
A-Medialynx manages the transmission of numerous signals, including those from MTV, VIVA, VIVA Plus and Nick Germany. The Platinum router will serve as the core component of the signal distribution workflow at A-Medialynx, routing all satellite transmission signals live and distributing them to the additional satellite uplinks.
The high capacity, small-footprint Platinum and Platinum MX routing switchers provide high-quality signal routing up to 128 x 128 in 9RU, 256 x 256 in 15RU and 512 x 512 in 28RU and support a mix of any signal — video and audio, from analog to HD — in the same frame.
