AmberFin appoints new CEO

Snell & Wilcox subsidiary AmberFin has appointed Jeremy Deaner to the post of CEO. He will be responsible for the general management and strategic direction of the company, replacing former CEO Simon Derry.

Deaner was previously part of the team behind the development of enterprise software business Geneva Technology and went on to lead the EMEA sales and marketing operation at Convergys following its acquisition of Geneva in 2001.

Simon Derry will remain as CEO and board member at AmberFin's parent company Snell & Wilcox, dedicating his time to its strategic development and growth.
