TM Systems to Introduce QC Station & RenderStation

TM Systems of Studio City, Calif., will unveil two new "Stations" at NAB2005. Used with other TM Systems language modules, QC Station is an independent quality-control module for desktop capability, while RenderStation is a bitmap-generation module that creates navigation and TIFF files from Word documents.

QC Station allows users to securely send audio and text files over the Internet and then simulated against digital video on any desktop, anywhere. This process eliminates the need to wait for a VHS dub to be shipped and returned.

RenderStation takes subtitling scripts in the form of Word documents created by the TranStation and generates a navigation file and a TIFF file per subtitle, specifically for DVD authoring. RenderStation runs on any Windows operating environment, including Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000 and XP.

TM Systems will be at Booth SU10367.
