Thomson to supply Comcast with VoIP cable modems

published Thomson announced it would supply Comcast with its VoIP cable modems (eMTAs modems) to support the cable operator’s rollout of a digital voice service.
Thomson’s deal with Comcast is part of the company’s global strategy to manufacture equipment for triple-play broadband services (TV, Internet, telephony) through enhanced home residential gateways for all types of network operators.
