Telecast Fiber Systems has released its new SG5070 SDI-HD/SDI video signal generator.
The new generator produces four video test patterns in seven HD formats and six SDI formats and is designed to complement the company's existing Viper II product line. The SG5070 has an output of 75 Ohms and features an option for fiber-optic ST connector outputs that enable direct-to-optical testing, allowing operators to establish and verify high-bandwidth HD transport through existing fiber networks.
The new module faceplate can be used in the Viper II frame or in standalone mode equipped with an external 12 V DC power supply.
