Crystal Vision to introduce first HD products at IBC2004

At IBC2004, Crystal Vision will introduce new, multi-standard HD distribution amps that automatically clock to and re-clock 270Mb/s SD video and the most commonly used HD formats.

Four outputs are available with the HDDA104R and eight with the HDDA108R. Both boards give comprehensive signal information and can be controlled and monitored using the Statesman PC control software.

Crystal Vision will also unveil new SD products at the show, including ShARC-XP, a 100mmx266mm board offering horizontal-only aspect ratio conversion. ShARC-XP performs two conversions: it takes the middle 75 percent of a 16:9 picture width and stretches it to full screen to fit on a 4:3 monitor, and squeezes a 4:3 image horizontally then adds black bands left and right to make it suitable for showing on a 16:9 monitor.

The new SYNNER144 is a single-board, combined synchronizer-tracking audio delay and embedder/de-embedder.
