Building4Media shows updates for Mac-based automation

Building4Media are introducing new and revised products for its Mac-based automation line at IBC2005, including:

  • FORK Production Suite — automation software developed in close cooperation with CNN with extended functionality including search.
  • FORK Archive Management — integrated with the content management system, and now offers the option to have the whole archive online in a proxy quality.
  • XMOS — integrates Final Cut Pro, newsroom systems and playout automation using the MOS protocol.
  • Xvideoserver — provides an Apple computer with up to four VDCPs and VTR interfaces using Sony remote protocol.
