Blue Order, a German-based provider of Media Asset Management (MAM) has purchased Telestream's FlipFactory for integration into its workflow automation software. Blue Order will use FlipFactory to automate the process of generating low-resolution proxy formats from high-resolution content stored on broadcast video servers. Acting as a universal translator, FlipFactory will be used for connectivity between Blue Order's Media Archive and legacy equipment at broadcast facilities.
