Murrow Awards recognize outstanding journalism from TV and radio stations

More than 100 national and 800 regional winners were announced

The Radio Television Digital News Association is calling for entries for the 2016 Edward R. Murrow Awards.

There will be two more Edward R. Murrow Awards up for grabs in 2017, as the Radio Television Digital News Association has announced the addition of two categories for participants to compete in.

The Radio Television Digital News Association presented its national Edward R. Murrow Awards at its annual awards gala in New York on Monday.

The Radio Television Digital News Association has announced the winners of the 2016 Student Edward R. Murrow Awards.

TV news stations both large and small were recipients of the 2016 National Edward R. Murrow Awards, which have been handed out by the Radio Television Digital News Association since 1971.

Ceremony will be held Oct. 12
