ATX acquires LARCAN
By TVTechnology published
ATX and LeBlanc & Royle Enterprises have entered into an agreement whereby LeBlanc & Royle’s LARCAN subsidiary will be merged into ATX.
The deal, which became final March 31, is intended to better position ATX in strategic markets for growth in new sectors of digital broadcast communications globally. LARCAN has a strong international presence through partnership.
According to ATX vice president of marketing, Ruth Lee, LARCAN will maintain its identity. No personnel or location changes are planned. “Everything is the same,” she added.
ATX with LARCAN will foster new development within the broadcast equipment manufacturing sector. LARCAN brings an in-depth understanding of broadcast communications and technology to ATX’s core business.
