MIAMI: Construction on a new 1,050-foot TV tower commenced March 12 forWPLG-TV, the Post-Newsweek ABC affiliate in this South Florida market. Stainless and Doty Moore Tower Services built the guyed, candelabra structure for the station’s digital antenna. Tower King II out of Cedar Hill, Texas is erecting it. The G-12 tower is comprised of 30-foot sections, the heaviest of which weighs 26,500 pounds.
