Vitec Group Announces RF Extreme

The Vitec Group has announced the establishment of RF Extreme, a new business unit within the company that will house the company's digital and analog video microwave brands, Nucomm, RF Central and Microwave Service Company (MSC).

“In combining the offerings of Nucomm, RF Central and MSC, we are able to give broadcasters an unprecedented level of service,” says RF Extreme president Stephen Shpock. “With this new unit, we can now save broadcasters a great deal of time, as it eliminates the need for having to work with multiple vendors.”

“RF Central, Nucomm, and MSC have been extremely successful in growing their respective market shares during the nearly two years within The Vitec Group,” says Joop Janssen, Chief Executive Officer for The Vitec Group Broadcast Systems division. “By aligning the market agility and superior customer support of RF Central with the premium and cutting edge technology of Nucomm and the well respected service of MSC, we are expecting RF Extreme to grow their market shares even further.”

RF Extreme is backed by integrated engineering, technical, and customer support resources to assure quality service. The new division provides high-quality solutions to professional users and distinctive global markets including broadcast, sports/entertainment, and the military and aerospace government sector.
