TV Magic Upgrades City Hall

TV Magic, a San Diego, Calif., systems integrator, did a digital upgrade for the City of Thousand Oaks, Calif. The project involved updating the audio, video, and control systems used at city hall to broadcast committee meetings and public discussions on the city’s municipal cable TV channel, TOTV. TV Magic said an aging analog infrastructure was replaced in the process.

TV Magic said it replaced and upgraded the pan-tilt camera system in city hall and tied the controllers into the existing city TV studio in another part of the building. The company also replaced the rooms audio system and controllers.

Thousand Oaks has run its municipal TV channel for two decades.
