The annual Surround Sound Conference and Expo, Surround 2005 takes place Dec. 15 -16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
The presentation, 'Surround TV Broadcast – Mixing Live Programming,' will explore how surround sound complements and enhances HD for live talk and variety shows and special presentations.
Attendees will also hear from TV show mixers discussing their everyday issues, techniques, equipment preferences and how they interface with broadcast network directors. Mastering music for HD broadcast and DVD-V in both stereo and 5.1 will be examined in the seminar 'Surround Mastering: The Video and the HD Dimension.
