CBS affiliate WISC-TV is launching a multichannel system in March using the Sundance Digital Titan Automation suite.
The automation package includes the Intelli-Sat broadcast recording manger for intake and delivery of programs from satellite to an Omneon server. Titan also will work with the Telestream Flip Factory for ingest and the Pathfire digital media gateway for media transfer and management.
"We want to remain flexible in our equipment choices and Sundance was able to customize the system to interface with our legacy gear," said Leonard Charles, director of engineering at WISC, based in Madison, Wis.
