Stephen W. Shpock, former CEO of Thales Corp. has been named president and managing director for the Vitec Group RF Systems, a business unit of the Broadcast Systems Division of The Vitec Group.
Shpock, who is also the former COO of MCE Technologies and has held various positions at Litton Electron Devices (L3), will oversee all three wireless link companies that comprise the VGRFS—Nucomm, RF Central and Microwave Services Corp. Shpock has a BEE from Stevens Institute of Technology, an MEE and a DEE from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Rochester. He will be based at Nucomm’s headquarters in Hackettstown, N.J.
