Secretaria de Educación Pública has purchased two Ross Video Synergy 1 Multi-Definition (MD) production switchers, Synergy 1.5 MD, Synergy 100 MD, and Synergy 100 standard definition (SD). SEP will be using the switchers primarily for educational and cultural programming.
SEP broadcasts to 30,000 downlinks within Mexico and an additional 300 downlinks outside the country, including Argentina and the United States. The programming incorporates a classroom learning environment for viewers.
The Synergy 1 MD and 1.5 MD are powerful single-MLE production switchers. They combine the big Synergy control panel look and feel with the compact MD rackframe. Synergy is engineered with a Multi-Definition architecture providing support for all popular SD and HD formats.
