OpenTV and Matsushita develop integrated browser for digital TV sets

OpenTV and Matsushita, the company behind the consumer electronic brand Panasonic, have jointly developed a BML/HTML integrated browser for two new Matsushita digital television sets.
BML, or Broadcast Markup Language, is the local Japanese standard for data broadcasting in Japan. These two television models (TH-36D30T and TH-32D30T) have multiple tuners that allow viewers to access bata and current analog terrestrial broadcast feeds.
