By TVTechnology published
NAB will hold its Satellite Uplink Training seminar Oct. 14-17 at its Washington, D.C., headquarters. The annual course is designed to assist broadcasters with meeting FCC regulations for satellite transmission.
The courses will cover uplink operational practices, which minimize the risk of satellite transmission interference. In addition, satellite communications systems, equipment, operating guidelines and safety and interference management techniques will be covered.
Norman Weinhouse of Norman Weinhouse Associates will conduct the seminar and a 300-page textbook authored by Weinhouse will be used as a basis for the course.
