LIN TV and Suddenlink Sign Carriage Agreement

LIN TV reached a retransmission consent agreement with cable operator Suddenlink after a spat that led to channels being dropped in Austin Texas and Albuquerque.
Suddenlink discontinued carriage of LIN TV’s television stations, including KXAN-TV (NBC) in the Austin market and KBIM-TV (CBS) in the Albuquerque market, when its contract expired on Dec. 31, 2007. LIN’s deal with Suddenlink affects 30,000 subscribers
LIN owns and/or operates 29 TV stations in 17 markets reaching around 10.2 million households per week.
