Liberty Stations Get Crispin PSIP Facelift

The Liberty broadcast station group recently installed Crispin's PSIP software on 12 of its network-affiliated TV stations in time for the Feb. 1, 2005 FCC mandated PSIP requirement deadline.

The Crispin DTV PSIP interface was installed at the following stations:


  • WAVE-DT, Louisville, Ky
  • WIS-DT, Columbia, S.C.
  • WTOL-DT, Toledo, Ohio
  • WFIE-DT, Evansville, Ind.
  • KCBD-DT, Lubbock, Texas
  • KPLC-DT, Lake Charles, La.
  • WLOX-DT, Biloxi, Miss.
  • WSFA-DT, Montgomery, Ala.
  • WALB-DT, Albany, Ga.
  • WWAY-DT, Wilmington, N.C.
  • KAIT-DT, Jonesboro, Ark.
  • KGBT-DT, Harlingen, Texas


Crispin will install the PSIP interface for three more Liberty owned stations by this summer.

Crispin partners with LINX Pro Products, now owned by Micronas Semiconductors Inc. to deliver a PSIP updating interface to its the LINX Pro Products TVLinx software.
