Kasenna, a provider of broadband video network systems, has purchased ViewNow, a video on demand programming, management and marketing services company for cable and telco providers.
The ViewNow business will become a division of Kasenna and will operate from its current locations in Bend, Ore. And Santa Monica, Calif. ViewNow President Steve Roberts will also remain with the combined companies as president of Kasenna's new ViewNow division.
"With Kasenna's new products and ViewNow's VOD programming and marketing services, we have created the 'triple play' for triple play providers: infrastructure, applications, and programming from one vendor," said Roberts.
