Inscriber Pedals Graphics for Tour de France
By TVTechnology published
The North American broadcast of the famed Tour de France bicycle race will feature graphics generated by the Inscriber RTX system. The broadcast will be on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) and Kiwi International Design Systems (KIDS), a company that specializes in broadcast sports graphics, will provide the graphics for the race.
Using the Inscriber RTX system, KIDS will generate real-time graphics for the grueling three-week race, which begins July 5. Graphical elements will include information on cyclists, tour statistics and race times, all of which will be generated and controlled from a single point.
The Waterloo, Ontario-based Inscriber manufactures a wide range of hardware and software for television graphics, including products for editing, production and live broadcast.
