The Hollywood Post Alliance is accepting entries of outstanding technology for consideration for the Engineering Excellence Award held as part of the 4th Annual HPA Awards.
The Engineering Excellence Award is intended to showcase and reward inventors, manufacturers, vendors and/or peer post-production companies for their outstanding products and technology application offerings. Valid offerings may include products or processes, but must represent a step forward for its industry beneficiaries. Entrants will be given the opportunity to present their technology offerings to a panel of industry peers, technologists and engineering luminaries during the Engineering Judging Day.
The HPA Awards also accepts entries in several creative categories including: Compositing, DI/Color Grading, Editing, Audio Post and Creativity and Innovation. Entries are also being accepted in a new category, the HPA Judges Award for Creativity and Innovation in Post Production, which made its debut during the 2008 awards.
