Foxcom to roll out AverLux fiber-optic products

Foxcom has begun delivery of its new AverLux fiber-optic product line intended to address the latest advances in RF video delivery for the multiple dwelling units (MDU) and private cable operator market, including HDTV, Ka-band satellite programming and single-wire distribution.

The first products released include the AverLux AL120 and AL320 series of L-Band/DBS fiber-optic transmitters and receivers. At the top of the spectrum, the AL127 and AL327 offer bandwidth from 2MHz to 3500MHz and are specifically designed to accommodate multiple satellite stacking capability and single-wire distribution with a bandwidth of 250MHz to 2150MHz. The AL122 and AL322 support wideband LNB and multi-switch configurations needed to address Ka band distribution.

For more traditional applications, the AL121 and AL321 provide standard 950MHz to 2150MHz L-band distribution at a cost comparable to using coaxial cable and RF amplifiers.
