FCC chairman announces plans for bureau chiefs

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin announced Jan. 8 his intention to appoint Monica Shah Desai as the Media Bureau chief and Helen Domenici as the International Bureau chief.
Martin also announced that Donna Coleman Gregg would serve as senior policy advisor to the ambassador and United States representative to the World Radiocommunication Conference.
Shah Desai has served as chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau since April 2005. For the past five years, Domenici has worked at the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in the Executive Office of the President as assistant director for Telecommunications and Information Technology.
Coleman Gregg was previously the chief of the Media Bureau.
