Electronics Research, Inc. (ERI) announced last week that it was awarded a contract to design and manufacture the 385-foot steel tower to be placed atop 4 Times Square. As reported in my May 19 RF Weekly, the Durst Organization is building a new TV transmission facility using broadband multichannel antennas at 4 Times Square in New York City.
ERI will also provide structural analysis services and be responsible for supervising erection of the new structure.
Tom Silliman, ERI President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "ERI is very excited to continue to be involved in the installation of major broadcast antenna facilities in New York City.
