t NAB last week, FCC commissioner Jonathan Adelstein unveiled a new “enhanced and consumer-friendly” FCC digital transition Web site.
The redesigned site is designed to provide television viewers with access to local DTV transition support and reception information, along with answers to questions about DTV equipment they may need to buy and install.
The collection of resources and statistics on the site, the FCC said, will also be useful for broadcasters, local government officials and businesses.
Article continues belowThe FCC also produced a new DTV transition guide, which was produced by Consumers Union in cooperation with the commission. It was also available at NAB.
