British electronic equipment maker Snell & Wilcox has named Simon Derry as its new CEO.
Derry will begin his new job at the Hampshire, U.K.-based company later this year. Most recently he was chief executive of Vitec plc's broadcast division. He also has worked at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, Nokia and Ingersoll Rand.
Derry will replace John Spencer, who will remain on the board of directors.
