Cox To Deliver Programming to PCs

Cox Broadcasting has picked The Digital Information Network desktop application to deliver news, weather, sports and promotion content to the desktop of their TV stations' viewers.

Viewers in the San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Orlando and Charlotte markets will have access on the desktop to news bulletins, severe weather alerts, traffic reports, school closings and automated Amber Alerts. Cox-owned stations will provide their subscribers with interactive, real-time Nexrad radar online and hour-by-hour forecasts for all US zip codes.

With the addition of Cox-held stations, The Digital Information Network now has more than 200 customers.
