In a PR effort designed to steal some of DirecTV's HDTV football thunder, Comcast Cable announced its own lineup of hi-def profession football schedule for this fall, which will include ABC's Monday Night Football, ABC's coverage of the post-season and 18 games from ESPN-HD.
"We are thrilled to offer our customers the opportunity to see the entire regular season prime time football schedule, including the fan-favorite Monday Night Football, in high-definition," said Michael Doyle, president of Comcast's Eastern Division. "The chance to watch ABC's Monday Night Football in HDTV is another benefit of Comcast Digital Cable."
